Audit and Advisory Services is pleased to announce that the spring "Bridging the Gap" information sharing sessions are now available for registration. The "Bridging the Gap" program brings together faculty and staff with University thought leadership to discuss emerging and hot button issues, to foster an open exchange, as well as to inform decision-makers.

 The dates, topics, and scheduled presenters for the upcoming sessions are as follows:

  •  Wednesday, March 13, 2013: "Shared Services" with Thera Kalmijn
  • Wednesday, April 10, 2013: "Social Media in the University" with Lyle Nevels
  • Wednesday, May 8, 2013: "Making the Connection: Together We Can" Roundtable with Regent   Charlene Zettel
  • Wednesday, June 13, 2013: "Research Roundtable" with Patrick Schlesinger, Pamela Miller, Frank Kinney, and Todd Vizenor

 All information sessions will take place from 3:00-4:30pm in 150 University Hall. Space is limited to 60 participants so please register using the Blu portal.

 To sign up:

  •  Go to the Blu portal (
  • Click on the link for the UC Learning Center in the "Self Service" section on the left side
  • Enter "bridging" in the search field in the upper left corner of the UC Learning Center to view sessions currently open for registration (Note:  All sessions will start with 2013 Bridging the Gap followed by session title)
  • Highlight the session you would like to attend and click "Register" to initiate the registration process
